Clonakilty Ireland Pday April 2010

Our first visit to a pub. The leprechauns made us do it.I know you're wondering what Elder Nield had in his drink. Look at that expression! Sister Nield is sitting in the beer garden. At night musicians will be playing and the pub will be full of those enjoying their Guiness and fellowship. If they just had root beer it looks like a hoot.

Outside the pub.

Clonakilty main street

Can't pass by the insurance agencies.

View of rolling hills of Ireland. Smidgen of ocean can be seen. Looks pastoral and serene. Every area around Ireland is divided by hedges marking property line

Here we have the typical inhabitants from 2800BC enjoying the ocean beach.

This stone circle dates back to 2000 to 1500

BC. On the altar Elder Hancock is sacrificing Elder Godley (how appropriate!)to the sun gods. From the circlecan be seen the kitchen and housing areas near Clanokilty

I'm a little bitter--I don't think Abby told me you had a blog :) Hopefully it's okay that I'm stalking you now, and even if it's not I'm still going to... You both look great. Thomas fits right in that Pub setting :) Maybe that's your REAL purpose--to buy a local Pub and trick people into buying root "beer."
