A member family gave us the tree and all the "baubles". We thought it was pretty much a Charlie Brown tree until we visited homes and discovered it is very typical of size and decor here. Most do not put their trees up until about a week before Christmas and some put them up Christmas Eve. Reminds me of when I was a kid. I never felt the excitement in the air here but that was probably because there were no little kids around. Seemed to us like Christmas was another opportunity for the gazillion charities to collect.
Looking out out sitting room window on Christmas afternoon.
One of Ireland's famous rainbows the day after Christmas. It had already started to fade by the time we could pull over and snap a picture.

Do you feel like newlyweds? The rainbow is pretty!
It is fun to see how you two are living. It reminds me of the 2 weeks Benj and I spent in Austria. It was definitely different than what we were used to. Fortunately we were only there for 2 weeks. I don't think I could make an entire life style change to their customs. We miss you and love you very much. The kids pray for you every night in their prayers. They ask that you will be safe and find people to teach.
